Recently, My good buddy, Gemma, lent me some cds. One of them was Danielle Rose's album Mysteries. It is an amazing and moving album. Each song is a meditation on a mystery of the Rosary. My favorite song from Mysteries is A Mother's Song. It is a synopsis of Jesus' life sung from Mary's point of view. It is the sweetest song ever. Mysteries is probably one of the longest collections I've every heard but 98% of the songs are amazing.
Danielle Rose comes from Duluth, Minnesota. She is a '02 graduate of Notre Dame with a degree in Theology and Music. She sang at World Youth day in Toronto, and she has made three albums, Defining Beauty, Mysteries, and I Thirst. In 2008 Danielle became a novice of a Franciscan order.
