8. Homeschoolers are creative. In my humble opinion homeschooling stimulates imagination. I, personally, cannot find a less imagination-inducing place than a high school. While our High School-attending brothers and sisters are locked in, homeschoolers are frolicking barefoot through meadows. Okay, not really, but we are reveling in unstructured-ness. If I get a headache during math, I can go outside for a while and come up with a new scene for my latest novel. Or I might take a quick break after lunch and finish that scarf I've been knitting. Or I might have to be Gandalf for my little brothers's game (only because I'm the tallest). The less structured atmosphere of a homeschool helps stimulate imagination.
